"WHAT THEY HAD TO SAY",
Hi, Vivian! We are so appreciative of you taking care of us so splendidly at both our wonderful resorts! Our gorgeous villa at Horned Dorset was out of this world as well. It was nice to learn the manager is Wilhelm, whom we had known from many stays at Horizons in Bermuda.
Your kindness and persistance in getting us top accommodations made our vacation thoroughly unforgettable. We will utilize your services for all our Caribbean trips in years to come. My husband, Edward, joins me in expressing his gratitude for all your work! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU WHO CONTRIBUTED TO OUR TRIP'S SUCCESS. Best wishes, J&E L. Boston Ma.
This is my favorite hotel in all of the Caribbean. The service is the best I have encountered anywhere in the world, it is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at, and the food is without fail amazing. Staff brought towels to both the beach and the pool each morning, and someone took drink orders from both locations throughout the day. All of the chairs on the beach now have pads, and there are new sunny yellow chairs on the bluff about 6 feet above the actual beach. While the beach is small, it is beautiful and clean, and larger beaches are just a short walk away. There are also new Italian shade umbrellas all along the beach and the bluff over the beach, as well as around the pool and on the patios of all of the beach front villas. The hotel now also has both a phone and a computer with free Internet access located in the main building for guests to use. Most rooms now have phones. Enjoying the complimentary tapas in the evening in the main terrace is a wonderful way to meet other guests. One day we watched whales frolicking from the terrace of the hotel; another day we watched dolphins swimming while we ate our lunch. One of my favorite moments was having a massage in my room overlooking the sparkling Caribbean and tropical flowers. Another was using the complimentary sea kayaks and kayaking alongside the coast. I highly recommend this hotel, you will not be disappointed.

From article, An Island in Full by Lisa Limer
"It's no exaggeration to say that the Horned Dorset Primavera is one of the most charming hotels in the Caribbean. On an island of a thousand kinds of flowers and trees, it's impossible to decide which garden is the prettiest, but the Horned Dorset setting is nothing less the idyllic-a whitewashed cluster of tile-roofed houses at the foot of a hill, overlooking the Caribbean. My room has the requisite appointments of high living: the marble-floor bathroom, the claw-foot bathtub, the gold leaf faucets, and a private plunge pool in a tree-shaded terrace. It is housed in the villa they call Casa Escondida, Hidden House, and it is that-utterly private. I hear birds, a dog barking, a rooster crowing."

"Standing waist-deep in the placid Caribbean a man was reading a Wall Street Journal that he'd folded into precise angles to keep his newspaper dry. What I couldn't figure out was why he wanted to make such an effort to stay in touch with the real world. The Horned Dorset Primavera is Puerto Rico's most intimate and romantic, not to mention utterly luxurious country inn. It's a Caribbean version of the Inn at Little Washington- elegant yet whimsical, from the trompe l'oeil orange and yellow circus tent painted on the ceiling above my four-poster bed to Pompidou, the squawking 6-year-old macaw who lives in the library.
The Horned Dorset Primavera is a rambling collection of 30 villa-rooms that spill down a bougainvillea-splashed hillside. It's possible - no, probably that you'll find it difficult to roust yourself from your sanctuary. Luxe details include footed porcelain bathtubs, canopied four-poster beds. Antique throw rugs, wall murals, ceiling fans and air conditioning. Some rooms have their own plunge pools. Also notable is what rooms don't have: TV, phones, web access.
Ultimately, one has to emerge. There are two swimming pools-my favorite, behind the Main House, is beautifully landscaped and set among palms and avocado trees, tamarind and oleander. Meals are served in the Main house - breakfast on the veranda, dinner in an elegant dining room. And naturally there's a private beach.
The charms of Rincon, a seaside resort town are nearby, but why leave paradise?"

"sleep in a four-poster bed, bathe in a claw-foot tub, pass through French doors that open to unobstructed views of crashing waves, dine at a gourmet restaurant and watch the sunset…light years from San Juan, your own piece of paradise, a special place to unwind."
